JMPD Chief of Police Primary Function:
To provide strategic leadership on all aspects of integrated public safety, and to ensure efficient and effective implementation/performance of the core functions prescribed in Section 64C of the South African Police Service Act namely; traffic policing, by-law enforcement, and traffic management.

Key Performance Areas:
• Lead the provision of policing, traffic management, by-law enforcement, and crime prevention services;
• Provision of assets, property, and human resources in order to ensure security services;
• Lead the provision of driver licensing and testing services;
• Lead and manage the Branch in terms of Section 64C (2) (a-h);
• Financial and Human Resources management;
