POST 06/372 : STAFF NURSE GRADE 1 TO 3 (TRAUMA & OPD)

SALARY : Grade 1: R220 614 per annum
Grade 2: R262 287 per annum
Grade 3: R306 798 per annum
CENTRE : Robertson Hospital
REQUIREMENTS : Minimum educational qualification: Qualification that allows registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse. Registration with a professional council: Registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse. Experience: Grade 1: None Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years appropriate/recognisable nursing experience after registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse. Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years appropriate/recognizable experience in nursing after registration with the SANC as Staff Nurse. Inherent requirements of the job: Willingness to work overtime when necessary. Will be required to work shifts including night duty, weekends and public holidays Must be prepared to assist in all departments according to operational needs. Ability to work under pressure. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge and insight of relevant legislation and policy related to nursing within the public sector. Ability to promote quality patient care through the implementation of protocols, guidelines, and standards.
DUTIES : Development and implementation of basic patient care to all patients. Provide basic clinical nursing care. Effective utilization of resources. Maintain professional growth/ethical standards and self-development.
