DEPUTY MANAGER: ERP CORE USER (SAP GRC/AUTHORISATIONS)
NATIONAL OFFICE – CENTURION
(Inclusive remuneration package of R 1,285,914.00 per annum)
The Deputy Manager will design, implement, and maintain user access controls within a SAP system, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations by utilizing the SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) module. The Deputy Manager will report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Duties:
Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC): Contribute to (SAP GRC) Governance, Risk and Compliance activities for ERP (SAP) implementation and application maintenance projects; design and implement security processes for ERP (SAP) systems; implement security solutions (infrastructure and/or application) including design, configuration, development, testing and deployment of security technologies; define and develop security control designs; apply roles of (SAP) security concepts, risk management, segregation of duties, remediation and mitigation; designing and operating of compliance monitoring by ensuring compliance with internal security policies, applicable laws and regulations; designing and executing information security awareness training and related activities; liaison between the business units, technology and support teams; daily (SAP GRC) Governance, Risk and Compliance access and process controls; provision of technical expertise to the functional and technical user base; design and deploy GRC reporting; monitoring of GRC applications; regular system audits for deviations of procedures, role mapping, unauthorised system activity, and report findings; assist functional and technical team with troubleshooting critical issues, as it relates to security or GRC; software configuration within the (SAP) GRC application; develop and oversee test plans for security enhancements.
Functional Relationships: Execution of business and functional strategies for Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, and project management; material management; cooperate with relevant business units, functional areas and business analysts; manage requests from technical side and lead preparation and execution of development plans to fulfil business needs; perform technical analysis and design of systems supporting the operation of the Commission; participate in project implementation and lead development activities for change requests; participate in 3rd level application support in order to mitigate and resolve incidents related to ERP applications.
Workflow: Administer and maintain new and revised delegation and processes on workflow.
Basic Requirements: An appropriate bachelor’s degree or 3-year Diploma in B Com Accounting, with a minimum of 8 years relevant working experience, of which 5 years must be performing functions and duties related to SAP GRC and authorisations, at a junior management level (equivalent of Assistant Manager or Assistant Director in the public service) in the Finance and IT environment; A SAP Authorisation technical certification and a SAP GRC functional certification is critical for the post; experience in SAP S/4HANA and Fiori implementation will be an advantage; effective GRC and Core User administration exposure; knowledge and understanding of set skills in finance, auditing and IT systems; a broad knowledge in the various SAP modules is essential; proven operational and process management experience within private or public sector; Excellent written and communication skills; Knowledge of project management principles as well as understanding of relevant legislation; excellent stakeholder liaison skills; conflict resolution; knowledge and understanding of the PFMA and National Treasury regulation; report writing, analytical and presentation skills; excellent computer skills; a valid driver’s license is compulsory.
