Salary: R397 116 – R467 790 p.a. exclusive of benefits

Nature of Position: Permanent
Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) as recognized by SAQA in Internal Audit / Financial Information Systems (FIS) / Computer Science / Cost Accounting / Auditing / Finance / Risk Management; Computer literacy and a valid driver’s license are essential.
Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in an IT Auditing environment.
Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of the SASSA Act and the Social Assistance Act; Knowledge of Auditing Standards and Methodologies; Knowledge of information systems auditing frameworks, such as COBIT, ISACA IT Audit Framework (ITAF) Standards, IIA Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS), ITIL, NIST, and ISO 27001/2; Knowledge of relevant corporate governance and risk management legislation, codes and regulatory requirements that impact the Agency; Knowledge and understanding of PAJA, POPIA & PAIA; Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations and Frameworks; Knowledge of the Public Service Act and Regulations Commercial Awareness, Creativity & Innovation, Action Orientation, Strategic, Interpersonal Sensitivity, Flexibility, Resilience and Personal Motivation.
Key performance: The incumbent will provide inputs to the Development and Alignment of the 3-Year Rolling Internal Audit Plan and Annual IT Audit Plan; Plan, Execute and Report on Allocated IT Audits in Line with the Approved Audit Plan; Conduct Follow-ups on the IT Audit Findings Register; Drive Continuous Improvement of the IT Audit Methodology and Tools; Research Emerging Technologies and Global IT Audit Trends and Strengthen Relationships with Key Stakeholders and Audit Clients.
