Introduction
Position: Erector Transformer X5 (BCCEI Limited Duration Contract) Position/Task Grade: Z05 Vacancy Type: INTERNAL & EXTERNAL Area of specialization: To assist the supervisor to repair, refurbish, install, remove high voltage transformers and associated auxiliary equipment on site. Assist to prepare the hazard identification & risk assessment on every project prior to commencement Department: SUBSTATIONS Business Unit: CONSTRUCTION SERVICES Location: Western Cape
Key Responsibilities
· Job file and Documentation – In conjunction with supervisor compile and update works instructions and procedures on a regular basis
· Transformer repairs – Interpret new design drawings provided by Engineering
· Training and Development – Provide on job training to learners allocated to the site department for experiential training
· Tools, Equipment and Housekeeping – Inspect the tools and equipment before use to ensure that they are in good working order and report defective tools to supervisor.
· SHEQ – Adhere to quality management system policies, procedures and related requirements of ISO 9001.

• Grade 12
