Introduction
Position/Task Grade: M18 Area of specialization: Establish and lead the Infrastructure Operations function by executing Eskom’s cloud strategy and delivering reliable, secure, and cost-effective cloud services. Provide resilient cloud infrastructure platforms that support business objectives, drive operational excellence, and manage change in line with evolving business requirements and agreed service-level standards. Key Responsibilities
· Manage operational services to meet operational targets and contracted service level requirements.
· Implement a standardised enterprise process.
· Manage the performance of existing infrastructure services within acceptable thresholds.
· Provide leadership and manage the section activities and resources.
Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
· B Degree/B Tech/Advanced Diploma in Information Technology/Information Management/Informatics/Computer Science at NQF7 with 360 credits
Related Minimum Experience:
· Minimum of 7 years of experience in Information Technology (IT) operations, manage service level agreements, problem and change management, configuration management, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) foundations.
