SARS is looking for a self-motivated, passionate person who can work and deliver independently in an extremely pressurised environment, with a team if experts and various internal and external stakeholders. The key deliverables of the role include the managing and allocation of tasks and the proficiency in end-to-end processes to enable execution of cluster objectives. The objective is to enhance service delivery through the provision of specialised expertise, strategic guidance, and operational support in the development and implementation of operational plans and processes, thereby enabling effective analysis, informed decision-making, and the fulfilment of reporting requirements.
Job Purpose
To ensure effective and efficient planning and execution of compliance risk activities to regulate taxpayer compliance and maximise tax revenue collections.
Education and Experience
Minimum Qualification & Experience Required
Bachelor’s Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Taxation or Accounting and 8 – 10 years’ experience in a Financial Sector, of which 3 – 4 years at a junior management level.
Alternative #
Senior Certificate (NQF 4) and 15 years’ experience in a Financial Sector, of which 3 – 4 years at a junior management level.
