SALARY : R138 486 per annum
CENTRE : Hermanus CDC; Overstand Sub-district

REQUIREMENTS : Minimum requirement: Basic numeracy and literacy skills. Experience: Appropriate cleaning experience in a hospital/ clinic/hospitality environment. Inherent requirements of the job: Physically able to lift and move heavy objects. Ability to operate machinery and equipment. Relief duties in other departments. Competencies (knowledge/skills): Knowledge of the correct methods of handling and disposal of refuse/waste products and adherence to policy and cleaning practices. Excellent communication Skills (verbal and written). Good
interpersonal skills.

DUTIES : Maintain a high standard of neat and hygienic environment in facility as stated in a weekly/daily/quarterly and six-monthly schedule according to IPC Policy. Maintain cleaning and maintenance of equipment. Ensure the correct waste containers are used according to the correct waste. Effective and correct handling of suppliers, equipment and cost-effective use of resources/consumables. Provide support during outreaches and campaigns.
