About the Position
The Prominent Individuals and Restricted Entities Segment is seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and results-driven Senior Officer: Risk Profiling to join our dynamic organisation, committed to integrity, accountability, and service excellence. In this pivotal role, you will play a key role in identifying and assessing tax compliance risks across multiple tax types and industries to ensure full compliance with legislative requirements.
Job Purpose
As the Senior Officer: Risk Profiling, you will be responsible for independent planning and executing complex activities across multiple tax types, periods, and risk areas. Additionally present risk profiling outcomes to relevant committees, identify tax evasion schemes and potential risk and recommend legal interventions. Your expertise will help ensure that we maintain a robust risk management framework while supporting our clients in achieving their business objectives.
Education and Experience
Minimum Qualification & Experience Required
- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Accounting, Auditing or Taxation AND 5 – 7 years’ experience in an audit or tax risk environment, of which 3 years at a technically skilled level
Minimum Functional Requirements
- Preliminary Investigations: 2-3 years experience in an Accounting, Auditing or Taxation Investigation environment
