Requirements :
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Administration/Information Management/Health Management (or equivalent). 2–3 years administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare/clinical governance, hospital, or public sector environment. Short courses in Records Management, POPIA, or Quality/Compliance are advantageous. COMPETENCIES/KNOWLEDGE: High integrity and respect for confidentiality (POPIA compliance). Attention to detail; organized and deadline-driven. Strong communication (written & verbal) and stakeholder management. Proactive problem-solving; Able to under pressure; teamwork and service orientation. Strong MS Office: Word (advanced formatting & templates), Excel (tables, formulas, pivot-ready data), PowerPoint, Outlook. Familiarity with health information systems (e.g. DHIS, or private EMR/EHR) is advantageous. Minute-taking and professional business writing. Batho Pele Principles, Patient rights and OHS act.
Duties :
- The incumbent will be expected to provide administrative, secretarial support, information & records management, compliance, quality & risk support. Prepare dashboards/spreadsheets in Excel/Teams, support data quality checks and basic trend analysis. Support clinical manager office with audits (file audits, IPC checks, patient experience surveys); collect evidence for compliance audits. Coordinate data submissions and monthly/quarterly returns (e.g., performance indicators, waiting time stats, adverse events, quality audits). Other additional duties as assigned by manager.
