Requirements :

  • Grade 12/ Matric or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Facility Management Unit or a Diploma/Degree in Public Management/Administration or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in FMU. Hospital environment experience will be an added advantage. Must be computer-literate. A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage. Knowledge of PFMA, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and Supply Chain Management Policies/Procedures. The ability to interpret and implement policies, directives and guidelines of the Gauteng Department of Health. Computer skills (Microsoft package). Report writing skills. Verbal and written communication skills. Problem-solving skills, Client Orientation skills.

Duties :

  • Conduct Infrastructure Assessments in collaboration with Chief Artisan/Quality Coordinator/IPC Coordinator/Environmental Health Practitioner, Identify and monitor projects on site, Compile and Monitor Implementation of Demand Plan, Identify and send a Service Request to Infrastructure GODH for approval, Organize and record monthly meetings with internal stakeholders as per annual schedule and Organize meetings with service providers for briefing on projects, when necessary. Log and Update Defects on E-Maintenance System, Manage budget of FMU, Do spot checks, Develop and Implement SOP. Compile monthly and weekly reports on updated Parking and Accommodation Registers. Continuous liaison with Chief Artison for Day-to-Day Maintenance, perform other related duties as assigned by the manager.
