SALARY : R468 459 – R551 823 per annum (Level 09), (a basic salary)

REQUIREMENTS : An undergraduate qualification in Digital Marketing, Public Relations or Communication and Web Management at NQF 6 as recognized by SAQA. Three (3) Years’ technical experience in Digital Media or Social Media Management is required. Knowledge of web and social media management is a must. Knowledge and understanding of Public Service Regulatory Framework. Knowledge and understanding of all Departmental Legislations and Prescripts. Knowledge of communication strategies and processes. A valid drivers’ license is an added advantage. Willingness to travel and work extended hours. Required skills and competencies: Service delivery

DUTIES : The successful candidate will be responsible for, amongst others, the following specific tasks: Facilitate and maintain the intranet, website and social media platforms for the department. Assume full editorial management responsibility for all digital platforms of the department. Management of information via the intranet, website and social media platforms. Ensuring effective distribution of updated information, programmes and campaigns via all digital platforms to ensure timely news and internal information sharing. Contribute to the
formulation and implementation of process of internal communication or staff information network including communication standards, processes and procedures. Maintain superior editorial standards across all departmental digital publications. Develop and implement mechanisms to encourage staff participation and involvement in DHA matters and events. Promote effective use of agreed communication channels, standards, processes and procedures throughout the department. Development and implementation of policy and procedure, directive acts and regulations. Implementation of policies, procedures, directives, acts and regulations. Ensure the implementation of effective risk and compliance management. Ensure effective and efficient management of human, physical and financial resources within the Unit. Coach and guide staff on best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.
