BUSINESS ANALYST (24 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT)

Requirements: Degree / Diploma in Information Technology or related field, coupled with 5 years’ experience as an IT Business Analyst or related role? A Certificate in Business Analysis will be an added advantage? Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and applicable knowledge and experience on the Job may be considered during the selection process.
Essential criteria: Strong knowledge of requirements elicitation techniques (interviews, workshops, surveys, document analysis) ? Solid understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)? Proficiency in business process modelling and tools (e.g., Visio)? Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) ? System testing experience ? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ? Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Performance Areas: ? Work closely with business stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document requirements ? Conduct feasibility studies and cost/benefit analyses to evaluate proposed solutions ? Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications ? Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate requirements and solutions ? Conduct gap analyses and recommend process improvements ? Support the design, development, and implementation of IT systems and processes ? Assist with user acceptance testing, training and change management activities ? Ensure solutions align with business objectives and compliance standards.
