Introduction
Eskom Distribution Division is looking for three Assistant Officer Fleet Technical. Position/Task Grade: T10. Business Unit: Gemma Cluster. Department: Finance – Fleet Services. Located in Rustenburg-Klerksdorp-Vryburg. Area of specialization: To support maintenance controllers by carrying out repair and/or maintenance technical vehicle evaluations, making relevant decisions, recommendations and support customer service employees by providing detailed technical information and assistance
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicle technical conditions
Manage vendors
Ensure vehicles, accessories and ancillaries are according to Eskom
specifications
Provide fleet technical advice
Evaluate vehicles identified for disposal
Assess accident damaged vehicles
Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
Senior Artisan (dry trade) Trade Certificate/ Engineering Assistant Related practical P1 P2/N5 qualified Mechanic light commercial or heavy vehicle at NQF4 with 120 credits
Related Minimum Experience:
2 years related practical P1 P2, post trade, fleet maintenance, technical experience
