INFORMATION SECURITY OFFICER
Grade: 13

Job Purpose: Responsible for applying technical expertise in overseeing the installation, configuration, administration and monitoring of Information technology security systems.

Essential Requirements:
•Diploma (NQF Level 6) in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) related field and an Information Security related certificate. •Valid motor vehicle driving license •4 years relevant experience.

Special Conditions: Post required to keep abreast of emerging security technologies and threat or vulnerabilities, and advice on security safeguards that would prevent those threats.

Physical Requirements: Must be physically capable of carrying out the duties of the post.
