Job Purpose: To plan, manage and control the Operational region (including domestic, commercial, industrial and garden waste) in accordance with relevant regulations/by-laws to ensure such is run as a sustainable operation and be able to compete with private enterprise.

Essential Requirements:
•Diploma (NQF Level 6) in one of the following:
Operations Management
Environmental Management
Environmental Engineering
Waste Management Public
Management Logistics
Management or any other related and equivalent qualification.
•Valid motor vehicle driving license.
•6 years relevant experience of which 2 years must be at supervisory level.

Special Conditions: The post is interchangeable with other Manager (Operations) within the Department.
