Salary: R 1,494,900–R 1,787,328 p.a. inclusive of benefits

Nature of Position: Permanent

Minimum Requirements: Candidates should hold a qualification at NQF Level 7 as recognized by SAQA in the field of Finance / Banking / Accounting / Financial Information Systems; Certificate for entry into the SMS (Senior Management Service) endorsed by the National
School of Government; The requirements for application of Senior Management Services (SMS) include the successful completion of an SMS Pre-entry programme (Nyukela) as endorsed by the National School Government (NSG) before appointment.

Experience: 5 Years’ relevant experience at a senior managerial level. Knowledge and Skills: Strong functional and professional subject knowledge, Strategic planning and organizing capability, Ability to drive innovation and creative problem‑solving, Computer literacy is appropriate to a senior management environment, Strategic capability and leadership competence, Programme and project management capability, Sound financial management and cost‑containment competence, Change management and service delivery innovation expertise, Process review, optimization, and continuous improvement capability and Risk management and mitigation capability.

Key Performance Areas: The incumbent will provide strategic leadership and oversight of national social assistance payment systems; Provide strategic governance of beneficiary maintenance and beneficiary lifecycle management; Provide leadership in the development and execution of national strategies for beneficiary records integrity and control; Provide strategic management of human, financial, and operational resources.
