SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER: PROCUREMENT (ACQUISITION AND CONTRACT  MANAGEMENT)
National Office (Tshwane)
(Inclusive remuneration package of R677 547.00 per annum)
The purpose of this position is to render administrative assistance in the Procurement Directorate. This position reports to the Deputy Manager: Procurement.
Key Performance areas:  
• Help conduct analysis of procurement expenditure for reporting purposes.
• Assist with collation of procurement schedules of all projects 
• Provide line functions with required information with regards to departmental expenditure. 
• Assist with running of Request for Quotations (RFQ)
• Assist with RFQ report review
• Assist with purchase order quality assurance
• Assist with the drafting of the tender documents
• Assist in monitoring procurement practices against policy, processes and procedures
• Assist in continuously analysing the performance of procurement activities in relation to projects
• Assist in continuously analysing compliance with contract conditions and the regulatory framework                        (effectiveness of contract management)
• Assist in the development of a department filing system 
• Compile consolidated bid statistics for the CFO and CEO
Basic requirements: The successful candidate will require Matric/N3, a three (3) year national diploma or degree in the financial management/supply chain management field with at least 4 years relevant working experience in a Procurement environment having worked with the Annual Procurement Plan; knowledge and understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Treasury Regulations is essential; knowledge and experience of Procurement and Supply Chain Management processes; knowledge of legal requirements relating to compliance; excellent computer skills with strong project management skills and experience; good written and verbal communication skills; the ability to work effectively in a team; good planning and organizational skills; the ability to work under pressure and a valid driver’s license.
