Introduction
Position: Senior Manager Legal, Commercial Position/Task Grade: EEE-BAND Department: Legal Business Unit: Commercial Reporting to the General Manager Legal, the Senior Manager Commercial will be responsible for managing a professional legal advisory team and providing strategic and professional legal services.
Key Responsibilities
· Formulate and execute legal strategy.
· Manage a professional legal advisory team.
· Provide strategic and professional legal advice.
· Manage dispute resolutions and provide negotiation assistance.
· Assist with the implementation of legislation and case law.
· Manage external attorneys.
· Manage client relationships.
Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
o LLB/B Proc at NQF level 8 with 480 credits and
o Admitted Attorney/Advocate
Related Minimum Experience:
o 10 years’ post admission experience in legal and strategic environment.
o The incumbent must have proven in-depth experience of and advanced skill in Construction Law, for at least 10 years.
