Introduction
Position: Senior Manager Technical Plant Tutuka Power Station Position/Task Grade: EEE-BAND Department: Technical Plant Business Unit: Tutuka Power Station Area of specialization: Reporting to the Power Station General Manager the Senior Manager Technical Plant Tutuka will be responsible to manage the technical operations function at the Power Station which ensures that the production plan is met in a sustainable manner and in full compliance with the plant legislation and other statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform operations management.
· Direct plant and conventional safety programme.
· Direct plant operations in the design base.
· Direct plant life cycle management in plant engineering, operating, and maintaining the plant.
· Manage plant contracts in line with Power Station policies and commercial procedures.
· Human resource management and training.
· Direct plant finances.
· Leadership development of key station managers.
Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
· B Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Control & Instrumentation, Industrial or Systems Engineering at a NQF 7 level with 360 credits or,
· B. Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Control & Instrumentation, Industrial or Systems Engineering at a NQF 7 level with 360 credits or,
· National Higher Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Control & Instrumentation, Industrial or Systems Engineering at a NQF 7 level with 360 credits.
Experience:
· 10 years Power Station experience in a management capacity, plant operations and engineering.
