Position: Officer Safety Health & Environ X10 (24 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT) Position/Task Grade: Q12 Area of specialization: To identify and manage any risks which could cause loss of health, life, equipment, product, environmental or money within the company. Department: Substations Business Unit: Construction Services Location: Various Sites
Key Responsibilities
• Safety, health, and environmental area management
• Risk Management
• Administration and management of the SHE section
• SHEQ Adherence
Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
• National Diploma in Safety Management or Environmental Management/Health (NQF5)
• Preferable Mechanical/Electrical or Civil Engineering time served apprenticeships.
• Valid driver’s license
Experience:
• 3 years’ experience work experience in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering and plant equipment.
• 3 years’ experience in Safety; Occupational health and environmental field as a safety officer
