Technical Security Team Member Job at Sars Brooklyn
SARS is looking for a dedicated, hardworking, self-driven and technically competent individual to support the installation, maintenance, repair and operational reliability of electronic security systems across SARS facilities. The successful incumbent must have practical experience in access control, CCTV/video surveillance and alarm systems, including the ability to conduct fault-finding, preventative maintenance, minor installations, system testing, configuration support, vendor coordination and technical reporting. The role requires sound technical judgement, attention to detail, adherence to safety and security procedures, and the ability to work independently under operational pressure while maintaining professional service delivery to internal stakeholders.
Education and Experience
Minimum Qualification & Experience Required
Higher Certificate (NQF 5) in Information Technology, Electronic Security Systems, Security Technology, Security Risk Management or a related technical/security discipline AND 2 years’ practical experience in the installation, maintenance, fault-finding or support of electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV/video surveillance and alarm systems, with a valid driver’s licence.
